HG Podcast #1: The Pilot Episode
About a week ago, HG staffers Elpea & Atzy, along with show guest Cheesewiz (HG Seraph from WICH), recorded the first HG podcast. This was intended to be a test of our capabilities and logistics (how to record from Skype, how to do it when your guests span two hemispheres, etc.), and was never intended to be released. However, after getting a lot of positive feedback and learning a lot of lessons, we were encouraged to release the very first episode.
We’re working on future episodes (in fact we finished recording the second one today, but there’s still a lot of editing to do), and we would like to hear from you on what you like and don’t like, as well as ideas and suggestions for upcoming podcasts. Comments welcome

Hey guys, I’m a big fan of gaming podcasts and I think an HG podcast is a great idea. I’ve only listened to the first few minutes and it sounds great. I’m really excited about future episodes and I think you should get more people involved.

Great! I love listening to podcasts, and I felt there was no podcast about RTS out there. I am glad you started this proyect. I hope you make a feed soon, so we can subscribe to the podcast via Itunes!

We just re-recorded the 2nd episode because of some technical glitches in the first one, and will probably record a 3rd before the end of the year. We’re looking for someone familiar with editing / mixing audio files to help us out with editing though - right now it’s me doing it and I’m kinda in a bind for time because of finals, essays, final projects, and quizzes all piling up the next two weeks :S
The plan is to have an episode out every other week for now, and once we smooth out the technical problems (mainly bandwidth) and get better at recording the show without interruption, we should be able to move to a once a week format.
